Etiquette Tip of the Month

Also, with The Lunar, Chinese New Year just around the corner, on Saturday, 29 January, Year 4704, the Year of the Dog, please allow me to say Goong Hay Fat Choy, as well. Please take a moment to review the following two newsletters on how best to celebrate this fun holiday (February 2005 and January 2004).

Here are a few photos taken during my 34-day trip to China, Hong Kong, and India this past November and December, with my husband Ron Hildebrand. As you see, we had fun dressing up as an Emperor and Empress, while attending The Hong Kong Association’s Awards event at the newly renovated Jumbo Floating Restaurant, in Hong Kong---the largest floating restaurant in the world, seating over a thousand people.

Next the photo of us dressed in Indian clothing was taken at the Global Adjustments office, in Chennai, India, where I am now affiliated to conduct a series of seminars throughout 2006.

And, to top it all,… while in Chennai, I---along with Sue Fox, author of “Etiquette for Dummies”---were totally surprised by the founder of Global Adjustments, Ms Ranjini Manian, with a giant billboard she purchased to advertise our appearances in Chennai and Bangalore. Wow!... imagine me on a huge billboard, right on a main street in town. It was quite a thrill of a lifetime for which I thank Ranjini very much!!

Next month as we resume our regular “Etiquette Tip of the Month” newsletter, filled with many new items to announce for the year. Do stay tuned…

I will wish you and all a most Happy New Year, filled with much success, good health, and happiness.

Warmest regards,
