Syndi is the first Asian graduate of both the equivalent of Harvard and Stanford schools of etiquette, The Protocol School of Washington, in D.C. and Emily Post Institute. She has earned their highest levels of certifications, including being a Certified International Protocol Officer, Level 1.

Syndi is a 4th generation Chinese American, born and raised in San Francisco, California. She is happily married and lives in San Anselmo… a suburb of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marin County, with her husband of nearly 25 years, Ron Hildebrand.
